If you’ve well and truly filled your boots in the Steam Summer Sale (and why wouldn’t you?) then there’s a good chance your Steam Deck is in need of some more storage.
And, while there’s no point in buying pricier Switch 2-focused Express cards, a microSD card is an easy recommendation whether you’re an LCD or OLED Deck owner, or one of the other excellent handheld PC options.
Thankfully, we’re not only always on the lookout for the best microSD cards, but cracking microSD card deals as well – and Amazon has some on offer in the US and UK that are well worth a look before Prime Day kicks off next week (July 8th-11th).
Save on these microSD cards for your Steam Deck
Kicking off with the UK deal, you can save almost 20% off of the RRP of a Samsung EVO Select microSD card with 1TB of storage.
The card, which comes with an adapter for SD card slots, is down to £64.99 from £79.99, marking a solid discount ahead of Prime Day, and it has transfer speeds of 160 MB/s so you’ll notice no speed drop-off versus using your Steam Deck’s internal drive.
For US readers, you’re not being left out.
You can snag a discount on multiple sizes of microSD card from Lexar, including 46% off of the 512GB option.
That means you can get half a terabyte for just $26.99, but if you want to go further, the 1TB variant is $76.59 down from $129.99.
We’re not expecting either of these to drop further during Prime Day next week. But, it could also be worth waiting a few days and comparing the price when you’ve got the full picture as well.
